How to remove garlic smell from hand

After  peeling garlic or handling it, your hands smell badly. However you wash your hands, it does not go off. The next time if it happens, take any stainless steel bowl, pan or other stainless steel kitchen gadget and rub your hands on it. It will take away the smell of garlic.
