Chicken Zinger Burger – Recipe + Giveaway

Instructions

1. First brine the chicken. It's really important to tender the meat. Brining is a process of soaking the meat in salty water. Add enough salt in the cold water and put the meat. This is way loss of moisture reduced and retains juiciness of the meat. Keep it aside for 2 hours.
2. Then strain the meat and pat dry it using clean cloth.
3. Next marinade the chicken.
4. Add vinegar, mustard sauce, Worcestershire sauce, white pepper powder, salt, red chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder and mixed herbs. Give it a mix.
5. leave in refrigerator for another 1 hour.
6. In the meantime let's make two batters to coat the chicken.
7. So first in a bowl add eggs, salt and give a whisk. Also add milk and whisk.
8. In another bowl combine dry mixture. First plain flour, cornflour, rice flour, bread crumbs and crushed cornflakes, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt and white pepper. Mix again.
9. First put the chicken breast into egg mixture, let the excess drip off.
10. Then roll in flour mixture.
11. Coat nicely.
12. For double coating, again put in the egg mixture. same way roll in flour mixture.
13. Once done, fry the chicken pieces in hot oil. Cook it on medium to low heat.
14. When it turns into nice golden brown, take them out.
15. Next take a burger bun. Slit from the center evenly & toast the bun lightly.
16. Now assemble the burger.
17. First take lower half of the bun. Put a fried chicken on it followed by lettuce leaves and hot mayonnaise sauce.
18. If you want you can put some onion, cucumber or tomato slices. But for me it is absolutely perfect to bite in.
19. So the Chicken Zinger Burger is done. Serve with fried chicken & french fries.
