Karanji Recipe For Holi (Flaky Pastry With Dry Filling) with step by step video instruction – It is a sweet snack, made occasionally for holi, Diwali and Ganesh Chaturthy.
As Holi is approaching, I thought this is the right time to prepare karanjis.
A good karanji has nice crispy and flaky outer sheath. Inner filling can be varied. In gujiya, khova with dry fruits is used. Puli pithe’s filling is made with cooked fresh coconut with jaggery. And in this karanji, I used desiccated coconut, roasted semolina, poppy seeds and dry fruits.
You can make in larger quantity and store in airtight container and enjoy them for few weeks. Some more Holi recipes coming over my YouTube channel and blog. Please make sure you LIKE, SHARE & SUBSCRIBE.
