Kathi roll is one of the very famous street foods in Bengal. It basically involves a paratha which is rolled with some spicy and savory stuffing of vegetables or meat.

Today I’m gonna be using paneer (Indian cottage cheese) as stuffing. Some of my viewers requested me to show vegetarian version of kathi roll. So this is the recipe for my vegetarian food lovers.
This paneer kathi roll is very easy and simple to make. I split up the whole process in 4 steps:
- Paneer is marinated in yogurt and spices and then cook in a pan.
- Then make the dough and make paratha .
- Finally combine both and assemble the roll.
Here I also added egg in the paratha. If you are vegetarian you can skip it.
Making this roll is undoubtedly easy and simple.You can snack on it or can serve it as quick dinner over making routine roti/chapathi and paneer curry.
